Worship Helpers Acolyte Camera operator - Train, then shadow one of the current recorders. We’ll add you to the rotation when you’re comfortable. Current rotation about every 3-4 weeks Communion preparers - Prepare the wine and hosts for one of the weekend worship services. Clean up afterwards. Full instructions are in the sacristy. Mentoring available. Greeter - Hold the door and welcome people to Trinity. Begin about 30 min. before worship begins. Online greeter - Represent Trinity online by welcoming and greeting others on the Facebook livestream. Reader - Read one or two Bible passages. The texts are mailed or emailed to you early in the week. Sound board operator or substitute. Turn microphones on/off if needed. Advance the PowerPoint slides as needed. After the last Sunday service, shut everything down and turn off TV monitors in the narthex. Usher - Hand out bulletins, collect the offering, direct people to communion Pick up the list from the mailbox across from the office. Call people on the list ensure they still want a ride. Drive the church van or your own vehicle. Welcome Center greeter Be a welcoming presence at worship Smile and introduce yourself. Ask, “Do you usually go to this service?” Maybe it’s a member who usually attends at other times, or perhaps it’s a visitor who would like to sit with someone who knows the ropes!

Caring for Others Deliver Meals on Wheels (75-minute commitment, weekly if desired, 3 month rotation) Visit prisoners through St. Dysmas, group goes to Springfield every other month Loads of Love (4-6 p.m. 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 1 or 2 hours, once a month) Help people experience clean clothes we take for granted! Family Servant Team (serving meals for funerals and other occasions) Provide a dish for special occasions Prayer Chain Ministry Serve at the Banquet (serve food or mingle with guests) Listening ministry with Stephen Ministry (training provided) Deliver bandages or kits to Minneapolis area

Music Ministry Bell Choir - Join a fun-loving, low-pressure group to ring 1-2 bells. Practice weekly 5:15-6:15 on Tuesdays, September through April or May, with performances every other month. Trinity Choir - Sing at weekly rehearsals 7-8 p.m. Wednesdays, September through May. Sing at worship every other month. Praise Team - Play your favorite instrument or just sing along with the Praise Team at the 5:30 Saturday and/or 8:30 Sunday worship. We practice Tuesdays at 7. Come for a special music selection, or for a season to see how you like it! Committees and Leadership Evangelism - Encourage everyone on their faith journey. Reach out to newcomers and usher them through the membership process. Equip all members to create a welcoming church environment. Stewardship - Share information on stewardship opportunities available. Help us all clearly understand our own responsibility for the generous and regular support of our church and God’s kingdom Trustees - Oversee maintenance of TLC property, including all financial matters of building and grounds. Envision or plan future ministries or projects Worship Life - engage the members o Trinity in all aspects of worship life Education -Oversee the Christian Education program for the entire congregation, including Sunday School, confirmation, VBS, and Adult Education Youth and Family - carry out youth ministry for middle school and high school groups, secure adult leaders to help mentor and guide the youth, coordinate with the Education committee to root our young people in faith. Financial Oversight - meet with the treasurer and financial secretary to ensure financial procedures are followed. 60-90 minutes in January. Nominating Committee - approach potential candidates for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and delegates to the Synod Assembly
